The slopes

Beginners

(Crystal rating 5)

On their first day beginners will start on the two easy slopes, served by a drag lift and button lift, at village level or on the runs at Les Suches which are located at higher level.

Intermediates

(Crystal rating 5)

This must be one of the most extensive areas in the Aosta Valley for intermediates. The link between La Thuile and La Rosière is by way of a chairlift at Col de la Traversette.

Advanced

(Crystal rating 3)

With a total of 12 black runs, 8 on the Italian side and 4 on the French, there is plenty of scope for the more experienced. Add to this some fine off-piste areas above the Piccolo St. Bérnard pass and the possibility of heli-skiing on the Rutor glacier and the better skier will relish the many challenges in this extensive area.

Snowboarding

(Crystal rating 3)

La Thuile is a bit of a gem just down the road from Courmayeur. It has loads of off-piste opportunities especially on the La Rosière side. The San Bernardo chair is worth a look. Head for a helicopter if you want the ultimate powder fix.
